Eco-friendly New Year’s Resolutions

We know many people like to create a list of resolutions for the New Year. And our thoughts are, what better way to start the year than with e-co friendly resolutions? We are in the used clothing business, therefore we strongly believe in recycling, reusing and reducing. We have put together a list of suggestions for your New Year’s resolutions.

• REDUCE pollution- Don’t tumble dry : According to a 2010 feature in The Guardian, simply doing one load of laundry every two days can create the same CO2e emissions as a flight from Glasgow, Scotland to London, England.
• RECYCLE your old clothes- Donate your old/used clothing: If you throw away your used clothes, they will end up in landfills and create greenhouse gases
• REUSE shopping bags-  Purchase reusable shopping bags which you can use time after time and the planet will thank you for reducing plastic pollution in the oceans and landfills
